My name is Glimar “Glee” Rodriguez Parrilla, and I am a bilingual educator, clinician, life coach, recovery coach, and speaker dedicated to promoting health equity and supporting marginalized communities. With over a decade of experience in supporting individuals with challenges associated to Chemical Dependency and Substance Misuse, I have become a compassionate advocate and member of a collective of experts in the behavioral health field. My journey has been shaped by my own experience in dual recovery, a passion for health and wellness, particularly for behavioral health professionals and the communities we serve.
My commitment to community advocacy drives me to educate others about equitable care and trauma-informed practices. I actively collaborate with stakeholders to improve health outcomes for underserved populations. For the past five years, I have focused on supporting transitional age youth and adults facing behavioral health challenges. I employ holistic care models that engage individuals of all ages, creating positive environments for healing and personal growth through both individual and group interventions.
In addition to my clinical work, I have facilitated the development of educational and training programs for clinical and non-clinical professionals, both locally and globally. These programs emphasize health equity and innovative engagement strategies, allowing me to share my knowledge and insights with a wider audience. As I move forward in my career, I remain dedicated to the mental health and wellness of behavioral health professionals and the individuals we support. I believe that through collaboration, education, and advocacy, we can create a healthier future for all. I am excited to continue sharing my experiences and insights, inspiring resilience and positive change in the lives of those around me.
